River Rats
Boating on Illinois Rivers or the Chain of Lakes has several
advantages. First of all it is always a good day in regards to the size of the
waves. The only waves are from barges or other boaters. Secondly, you have an
extended season. You can put your boat in the water at the end of March and not
need to take it out until November. Plus from the rivers you still have access
to the lake. So for those of you that love the Rivers or Chain of Lakes, these
are your Marinas. If you have any pictures of life along the Chain of Lakes,
Illinois River, or Chicago River, please submit them to us.
